The month of January & a 34 week old fetus

Preston started out January with a trip to Colorado with his dad to visit his oldest brother, David, and witness our newest nephew getting his baby blessing. He had a good time hanging out with his dad and brother and I hung out and relived the days of being single (which sucked)

Then Preston started another semester of school. He is currently taking a math class that is known as the "most failed class on campus." Several students in his class admitted to taking this class more than twice, so Preston is trying really hard to study and locate all the math nerds he can.

We both came down Strep throat this month, it was not a happy time in the Whitlock household

We then got to visit our friends who moved to Bountiful, Utah back in December and their baby girl, Mya (I used to be her nanny) We all were still feeling kind of sick so it was a pretty calm weekend. We went to the movies, did some shopping, played some tennis, had a dinner date night, and watched the boys play a lot of xbox (barf)

Here's a picture of baby Mya playing some xbox with Preston. I love her facial expression

As for our baby growing adventure lately:

HOW FAR ALONG? Almost 34 weeks!

WEIGHT GAIN:  25 pounds

BABY MOVEMENT: A LOT, she definitely is on her own little schedule though. She is the most active at night and in the morning, she's my little alarm clock these days. Her movements are changing a lot since she's getting bigger and sometimes she'll push her head or butt (I'm not really sure) really hard up against my belly and we can see the bulge it makes. She also gets the hiccups at least 4 times a day, I promise that's not an exaggeration. My doctor said it's total normal as her digestive system is developing a lot these last few weeks.

FOOD CRAVINGS: I realize this isn't a food, but I am addicted to ice lately...especially pebble ice. It's my most favorite thing. I've been having really bad heart burn lately so eating isn't as much fun as it once was

BELLY BUTTON: My belly button is very much out and about for the world to see

STRETCH MARKS: I have none on my belly so far which is awesome! I do have some small ones on my bum and hips however...my doctor thinks they will most likely fade away after the babe is born. If not we'll always have a happy little reminder I guess.

SLEEPING: It's been okay, I take Unisom every night which is my best friend but it doesn't stop me from having to pee at least twice in the middle of the night.

MOODS: I'm usually okay but usually once a month I have a little breakdown where I cry at Preston for about 30 minutes and then we agree to pretend it didn't happen the next day.

MISSING ANYTHING: Walking without pain! My pelvis has been killing me since about 26 weeks, my doctor said I have Symphysis Pubic Dysfunction (basically means the ligaments in my pelvis relaxed too early resulting in an "unstable" pelvis that grinds when I walk...it's been awesome. Preston has also named me Waddlesworth due to my waddling to avoid the pain..he's so sweet haha) I would say I miss sleeping good at night but lets be honest, I'm probably never going to get a good nights sleep again :)

LOOKING FORWARD TO:  D Day! I'm so excited to get this little miss out of me! I can't wait to meet her, kiss her, squish her and cuddle her!

Here's a picture from 32 weeks- I have yet to take a more recent photo!

Preston and I are very excited for February- it will be our last full month of being pregnant! It will be full of more baby prep, working, school and baby showers!  We also only have one more doctors appointment before my doctor starts checking to see how I'm progressing in preparation for delivery! It's so crazy!

YA-HOO!!!!
