TEN MONTHS

Harper is now ten months old! She's so fun and she has SO much personality. She is such a sweet girl, as most babies are. She loves to make friends and she smiles at literally everyone she sees, it's one of my most favorite things about her. She is [usually] always smiling.

This month started out rough. Harper decorated the back seat of my car, herself and her car seat with mass amounts of vomit and we quickly realized she had some weird little stomach bug...which Preston and I of course got to experience as well. We were a sad bunch of Whitlocks for about 48 hours until it passed. Despite my best efforts to save and clean her car seat and my back seat we ended up purchasing her a new car seat (which she is incredibly fond of) and a car detail for me. But we are all healthy and happy now.

We are really excited about the new year. I'm sure this year will bring many more new experiences and challenges for us as a new family but none the less we are looking forward to it.

Harper Lately:

- Got 2 new teeth! She now has both bottom teeth and one top tooth popping out

- Started crawling! For a second we were a little concerned, she would crawl with around dragging one leg for a few days and it looked really strange. Now she's got it all down though and she's getting very speedy and it's impossible to keep her still (as you will see below)

- She can now wave and clap and loves to do both

- Harper has a new game where if someone asks her, "how big are you?" She'll hold her hands way above her head to tell you she's sooooo big!

- She can pull herself up on things to stand

- If I'm sitting on the floor while she's playing with toys she will crawl over to me and sit on my lap to see what I'm doing on my phone or the computer

All in all Harper is doing really good. She's still our tiny little lady, I kind of like that she's so small. It makes me feel like I still have a little baby even if she'll be one in two months. We are looking forward to her birthday party and seeing some family!

Here are some pictures. This little photo session was interesting with a very mobile Harper as you can see.... :)
